GTA VI’s setting is the state of Leonida, with Vice City as its best-known city. Rockstar’s world showcase also names the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. Six named regions do not necessarily mean six administrative counties or six separate cities.
How big is the GTA 6 map?
The sources reviewed for this guide do not publish a measured map area, a complete navigable map or an exact comparison with GTA V. Numbers derived from trailer landmarks and fan reconstructions are estimates, not official area measurements.
A meaningful comparison would have to use the same definition for both games: land alone or land and water, accessible terrain or a bounding rectangle. A screenshot’s perspective is not enough to measure travel distance or playable boundaries.
The six named regions
Vice City provides the city and nightlife setting. Leonida Keys is linked to Jason and Brian’s coastal lives, while Grassrivers introduces wetlands and wildlife imagery. Port Gellhorn has a roadside identity distinct from Vice City’s waterfront.
Ambrosia adds an industrial setting. Mount Kalaga National Park adds mountain and forest scenery. The regional profiles contain their promotional images and the character connections established in the world reveal.
Is the interactive map an official game map?
The map on this site is a schematic selector for region profiles. Its outline and marker positions are illustrative, not measured game geography. It cannot provide directions, travel times or collectible locations.
The location directory is the text-and-image alternative to that selector. Both lead to the same region profiles, so the names and descriptions are available without interacting with the graphic.
