GTA 6 release date: November 19, 2026

When is GTA 6 coming out?

GTA VI is scheduled for November 19, 2026. Rockstar’s current game page displays that date with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar announced the November target on November 6, 2025.

Older trailer end cards may show earlier release windows. The current game page and dated release announcement are the references for the latest scheduled launch, rather than text attached to the first reveal.

Preload date and physical availability

The June 24, 2026 preorder announcement sets November 12 as the start of digital preloading. Boxed download codes are also scheduled for retail availability on that date. Neither is an announcement that the game can be played a week early.

The same announcement opened preorders on June 25 at midnight local time. It lists US prices of $79.99 for the base game and $99.99 for Ultimate Edition.

Release time and countdown

The calendar date is November 19, but the cited material does not specify a single worldwide unlock hour. Local store pages may distinguish midnight in a region from a simultaneous global launch.

The countdown on this site uses November 19 at midnight UTC as a calendar reference. It is not the time shown by every console storefront. Confirm the release time attached to your purchase before planning a launch-night session.

PC, PS4 and Xbox One release status

The announced platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release date is not provided in the reviewed announcements. PS4 and Xbox One are not listed as supported versions.

The absence of a PC date does not establish a future PC schedule. A console launch date or preload announcement should not be reused as a PC release claim.
