GTA 6 Trailer 2: story, characters and song

A partnership at the center

Trailer 2 arrived on May 6, 2025. Where the first trailer introduced Leonida’s atmosphere, the second gives you a stronger reason to care about the people living there. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos sit at the center of the story, with a job gone wrong drawing them into a wider criminal conspiracy.

Jason comes from a background of thieves and con artists, followed by a spell in the Army and work for drug runners in the Keys. Lucia is rebuilding her life after prison. Those contrasting situations make their shared future more interesting than a simple two-person crime spree.

The Keys: Jason, Brian and Cal

Brian Heder operates through a boat yard with his wife Lori. Jason lives in one of Brian’s properties in exchange for helping with his work. Cal Hampton is Jason’s friend and another part of Brian’s circle, with a taste for beer, internet theories and Coast Guard communications.

Together, these profiles give the coastal scenes a social setting. The Keys are not just a scenic detour; they are tied to Jason’s daily life and obligations before the larger story takes over.

Vice City: the music connection

Boobie Ike’s interests span property, nightlife and a recording studio. His partnership with Dre’Quan Priest centers on Only Raw Records. Dre’Quan has signed Real Dimez, the duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, who are chasing another breakthrough.

Follow that chain when you rewatch: Boobie to Dre’Quan, Dre’Quan to Real Dimez. It is a compact way to connect several supporting profiles instead of treating every new face as an isolated cameo.
